Health Benefits of Almonds :
Almonds are a powerhouse of nutrients! They are rich in healthy fats, fiber, protein, magnesium, and vitamin E. Including almonds in your diet can help lower blood sugar levels, reduce blood pressure, and lower cholesterol levels. Plus, they are incredibly versatile in recipes, especially in desserts like these Instant Badam Laddus.

- Good for packing in lunch box or after school classes. For kids and adults who have long commute. Easily pop in one or two to keep you full for a longer time.
Ingredients for Instant Badam Laddu :

- 1 cup almond flour (I have used store bought )
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (reduce for a healthier version)
- 3 tablespoons ghee (clarified butter)
- 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder for a aroma and flavor
- A few saffron strands (optional, for garnishing)
- Chopped nuts (like cashews and pistachios) for added crunch (optional)
Step pics for making perfect almond laddus :

Soaking saffron in warm milk helps to extract most color from the spice.

Make sure to heat the milk and ghee together in a low flame so saffron does not loose its flavor and aroma.

Add powdered sugar to the almond mixture only after removing from heat else it will start melting and make the mixture become too soft and the shape cannot be formed. Edible silver warq is put on the laddu for decoration. The laddu can be made even without that.
Tips for Making Perfect Instant Badam Laddus
- Use Fresh Almond Flour: For the best taste, use fresh, high-quality almond flour. You can also roast the flour slightly for an enhanced flavor.
- Adjust the Sweetness: You can adjust the amount of sugar or jaggery to suit your taste. For a low-carb version, consider using a sugar substitute like stevia or erythritol.
- Add Flavor Variations: Consider adding a pinch of saffron or a few drops of rose water for a unique twist on the traditional flavor.
