Cranberry sauce is a must have for traditional Thanksgiving .It is served along with roasted turkey.Pretty simple to make well ahead of time say two to three days and put in the fridge with a tight lid.

My God !! how true is the saying ,”Don’t go by the looks”!!! If u have not tried cranberries I tell you ,u should .It is really tart !!Almost sourness is at par with tamarind but looks like jam isn’t it!!!

Do check out Thanksgiving recipe Turkey breast roast and menu

Ingredients

Cranberry- frozen / fresh – 12 oz bag
Water- 1 cup

Method

Bring water to boil add cranberries and simmer for 10 to 12 minutes.Stir in occasionally .Until everything is mashed up.
Note
You could use sugar-1 cup to cut the tartness.
It was like having lime pickle with meat.,I mean we did not add sugar so it was really tart.I must say I like it that way.
I think it goes well for a spicy turkey roast.
Let me know what u think.
