Mango Iced Tea, the delicious fruit flavored tea made for those sweltering hot days with the king of fruits to cool off and feel refreshed.

Tea, for me has been the strong hot and brewing dairy filled, frothy cup  all the rest sounds weak and watered down flat drink and cold oh no noo. I opt for water when plain iced tea is offered  I just cannot not stand the idea of tea getting cold, blame it on the place where I come from we just drink it piping hot nothing else.  But everything changed when my girly started liking iced tea.  She kept saying Mom u should try, never dismiss anything without trying!!

….ya where do you think that is coming from? ….my advice backfiring ..lolllll :)))) Well! I did give it a try and I must admit I am liking the fruit flavored tea unlike the regular lemon tea which left a sour after taste.

Mango Iced Tea Recipe

Ingredients:

Mango pureed – 1/2 of 1 – (Haden variety used)
Tea bag -2 to 3
Sugar  – 2-3 tsp
Mint leaves for garnishing

Method:
Peel, chop and blend the mango and refrigerate it.
Heat 2 cups of water, when it comes to a boil drop the tea bags in it and wait for a minute then switch off the flame ,cover the teapot with the lid and let it rest for 5-7 minutes. Squeeze the teabag with the back of a spoon if u like stronger tea. Discard the bags and refrigerate it.
