Potato sauteed with garlic and chili flakes .Do you love anything with garlic added in it ....me too...

There are umpteen combinations of spices and potato acts like a canvas showcasing our taste right??

A simple recipe with some burst of spices.OK I  am already drooling ..yes the garlic chili combination is to die for guys .Make sure you use fresh ingredients !! So next time you want to make french fries try this recipe instead. You will love it.
I serve urulakizhangu mezhukupuratti on a steel side plate ,I love it because it reminds me of hooommeeee.....

Ingredients

Potato -2 large
Onion -1 (chopped)
garlic-3 flakes
chili flakes-1 -2 tsp
chili powder-1 tsp
turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
salt to taste

Method

1.Pressure cook potatoes in 1 glass water for only 1 whistle. When heat is bearable remove peel, cut into big cubes.Keep it aside
2.Coarsely crush garlic and chili flakes together.

3.Heat a wide mouthed pan add 2 tsp of oil put the onion in it add saute till it is soft. Then make some space in the center of the pan and add a tsp or two of coconut oil put the powders and garlic mix ,curry leaves if you like. Wait till  the raw smell of garlic goes then mix everything together ,put potato pieces and salt give a good stir without mashing it.Put it on low flame uncovered till it is no more soggy. If it is getting stuck to the pan add lil more oil...

Enjoy with mambazha pachadi ,rice and papadam.

Note

U need not pressure cook potatoes.Just cook in a pan with enough water till it is cooked. U can also straight away peel the potato cut into cubes and put it along with onions,it will take longer to cook.

I pressure cook it to reduce cooking time and like it lil mashed up :). I donno why the tastiest part is what is stuck in the pan:)

Will u let me know how it is after trying.
