Mango Lassi

A naturally sweetened drink made with sweet mango slices and creamy fresh yogurt, a perfect summer drink to have.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 of 1 Mango cubed. In using canned 1/2 cup Kesar mango pulp (Available in most Indian Grocery stores)
  • 1/2 cup Whole milk
  • 1/2 cup Full fat yogurt
  • 2 tbsp Full fat cream
  • 2-3 pod Green cardamom ( peel removed and powdered ) 
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • Ice cubes (Optional)

Instructions

  • Grind  the mango pieces in a blender until smooth then add milk, yogurt cardamom powderLet it blend until smooth.

  • Pour the mango lassi into tall chilled glass. Add the topping of 1 tbsp cream per glass and sprinkle cardamom powder on top ,few cubes of mango and mint sprig per glass.
    Serve immediately add ice cubes sparingly as this dilutes the lassi.

  • Serve Mango lassi along with a light meal instead of dessert.

Notes

 
Chill all the ingredients and serve immediately after making the lassi.
Skip milk  and go for yogurt if u like the lassi tart also add some sweetener like sugar or honey if u prefer.
