  • Few sprigs Cilantro chopped
  • 1 lime juiced
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Add the lime juice and salt to the chopped onion mix well.
  • Now add the strawberries, tomatoes, jalapeno, avocado, cilantro toss everything together very gently.
  • Chill for 30 minutes then serve in a nice pretty looking bowl.
  • Note : Salsa can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for upto 2 days but its a good idea to make it new if you like the fresh color and texture.
  • Salsa can be served in an earthen pot which adds earthen flovor to the dish.

Notes

If the salad is going to be used later chop up the strawberry tomato and avocado towards the end so they do not loose color or texture.
Lime juice and salt can make the fruits look limp as the time goes by. To save this from happening add the lime juice and salt to the onion first and keep aside. This reduces some of onion pungency to almost half and tastes good in the salsa. Wait for few minutes before tossing in the fruits.
