Indian gooseberry pickled is a deliciously tart, spicy and flavorful achar made with amla / nellikka. Usually served as a condiment for rice, gruel porridge etc. 

Ingredients to make Indian gooseberry pickled. Use frozen if fresh fruit is not available.

Steam the gooseberry and separate the segments carefully.

Chop the ginger garlic green chili

Saute spices

Mix the gooseberry and spices

Store in an airtight bottle.

Serve the Indian gooseberry pickle from next day onwards.
