Vegetable clear soup / Soup for the sick / Low cal soup

Soup with vegs and some spices made with get well soon wishes.Well ,when your body says stop..heed to the request and make it feel better with vegetable clear soup.

Ingredients for serving 3:

Carrot - 1(Cut into matchstick size)
Cabbage-a small piece (cut into thin long slices)
Onion -1/2 of 1 -White-Cut lengthwise
Celery- 1/2 stick(chopped)

Ginger-1 big piece (Cut into julienne )
Garlic- 3 to 4 flakes (cut into small pieces)
Cumin seeds-1 tsp (crushed)
Peppercorns- 1 to 2 tsp powdered (depending on ur withstanding capacity:))
Dried basil-1 tsp (crush it with the ur palm)
Crush red chili flakes- a small pinch
Bullion cube-1/2 (I used maggi chicken cube,u could use veg cube too)
Lime - 1/4 of 1 per serving
Salt to taste

Method:

Heat oil add ginger and garlic when the raw smell goes add chili flakes,onion ,carrots saute well then celery and cabbage saute on high heat now then pour 3 cups water(1 cup per serving) then let it boil.Now season with cumin,pepper powdered,dried basil ,salt .Let the flavors sink in, let it boil but stop before the veg becomes too limpy.
Serve piping hot with parsley or coriander leaves.

Note:

I make clear soup all the time and it peps me up when my head is heavy.

I know it works best for cold too and u r  sure to feel better as the spices are going to open up you nostrils.....but I am not a doctor so hope u will use ur discretion to judge if it right for u:)
